Maundy Thursday observed

Maundy Thursday is the commemoration of Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples it also the day of the institution of Holy Eucharist and Order of Priesthood. On this day 6.00 PM ceremony began. Fr Alwyn D’Souza was the main celebrant. Fr Alwyn S.J. preached a meaningful homily and highlighted the significance of the day. Speaking about priesthood he said; we must maintain the sanctity of Priests in order to offer Eucharist. During the ceremony Parish Priest Fr Basil Vass washed the feet of twelve disciples. After the Eucharist one hour adoration was conducted by the seminarians.
