Jesus Christ came to this world bringing joy, peace and love to all, especially the poor and the downtrodden. With the same spirit we the community of Sacred Heart parish, Madanthyar celebrated Christmas.

The Choir began singing the joyful Christmas Carols at 7:00 PM and the Holy Eucharist began at 7:30PM on 24th December 2020.

Fr Joseph Dsouza O.C.D, superior of Ashadeepa presided over the Holy Eucharist, Fr Elias O.C.D preached a meaningful homily saying that we need to welcome Jesus Christ into our hearts.

Rev. Fr Basil Vas, Parish Priest thanked the congregation for their support and also those who actively worked to prepare the crib, clean the surroundings and the church. Then he wished all the parishioners a happy Christmas.

1500 parishioners were present for the celebration. All Covid regulations were followed.
