Dec. 13: ICYM Madanthyar unit in collaboration with St Joseph Ward had organized a programme of building a Temporary mud barrier to a Stream that passes through Nadwe in Kolpedabail village Madanthyar on 10th of December, Monday, for the second time . The aim in constructiong the barrier to the water stream was to provide store the water and help the agriculturists residing besides the river in case of water scarcity.

The village is involved in number of agricultural works and they require the water in Summer season. In the future days, to avoid the water scarcity, the first mud barrier was built at Sonandur and now the second barrier is built at Nadge. ICYM members along with the villagers organized this unique programme which would help the villagers in their daily routine.

The Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church Madanthyar Rev Fr Basil Vas, Asst parish priest Fr Alwyn Dsouza and Sacred Heart College novelist Dr. Joseph N.M were present on the day.
