Renovated cemetery blessing at Madanthyar

Mar. 01: Cemetery is holy place for all of us Christians; it is a place of hope. Keeping these thoughts in mind our cemetery was renovated and made very attractive. Small prayer hall is built with basic facilities and walls are being built around the cemetery. Fruit baring and other beautiful trees are planted around the cemetery along with necessary water facilities. Bishop of Mangalore Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldhanha was present and conducted prayer service and blessed all the graves. Addressing the people he requested all the people to maintain the sanctity of this sacred place. People those who worked for this project were facilitated by the Bishop.
