On Sunday 24th February 2019 Catechism Day was celebrated. Rev. Fr Lancy Lewis superior of Asha Deepa celebrated the Holy Eucharist and prayed for all the children. Children and teachers animated the liturgy meaningfully. After the Mass breakfast was served for all the people and then cultural program was held in the Sacred Heart Hall. The entire children performed wonderful program on the stage narrating teachings and parables of Jesus. During the program children were honored for their achievements and catechism teachers were felicitated for their dedicated service. Rev. Fr Basil Vas, Rev. Fr Alwyn D’Souza, Rev. Fr Jerome D’Souza, Rev. Fr Alwyn S.J., Vice President Ronald Sequeira, Secretary Leo Rodrigues, Sr Prema Tauro, Sr Theresa Crasta, Teacher Jessy Lobo were present for the program. Meal prepared by Parish Council was served at the end of the program. The whole program was hoisted by the Parish Council.
